Career Experience
After graduating with my math degree in 2021, I worked as a business analyst. Since 2022 I have been working as an investment analyst. I’ve always been drawn to jobs that utilized data analysis but wouldn’t limit the types of projects I get to work on. In my current position, I get to work on a wide array of tasks from more mechanical daily tasks to revamps of currently used products. Additionally, I have been tutoring math on and off for most of my life both privately and professionally. My tutoring experience began in middle school when I helped out elementary school students with their math homework. I also tutored my peers in middle school math classes and again during my high school math classes. When I was in college, I was hired to work as a professional tutor for the math tutoring lab where we, the tutors, were responsible for being able to tutor any student that came in with a question about their freshman or sophomore level math class. This included students of all majors that were taking any freshman or sophomore level math class.
I Love Tutoring Because
I have always loved being able to help students gain clarity, understanding, and confidence in and out of the classroom. When students gain self-confidence the possibilities are endless, and I am so grateful that I have been able to provide this to students over the years, and that I get to continue to do so.
