I am a writer and educator with 12 years of teaching experience in higher education. As a former graduate assistant, adjunct instructor, and visiting assistant professor of English, I have taught courses in composition, creative writing, and literature.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love working with fellow writers. As a tutor specializing in writing, I care deeply about a student-writer's individual goals with a particular writing project. To write is to include oneself. Through writing, the student has the potential not only to discover and refine ideas that are important to one’s orientation of self to the world, but to discover and participate in the communities to which one might belong.
