Career Experience
Hi! My name is Amalia, and I am a passionate student and teacher. I earned my Bachelor's in history and comparative theory. After university, I taught two years of academic English at various universities abroad. While my time in undergrad provided me a love of the humanities and writing, my experience in teaching students of all backgrounds nourished my interest in data and science, as many of my activities with my students involve engaging with the community through surveys and experiments. Ultimately, I have gained a highly fun and interactive style of teaching that spans many areas of knowledge, allowing students to lead their own learning adventure, with me as a guide. In my free time, I continue perfecting the four languages I speak, wandering through museums, and cooking dishes from around the world.

my experiences as an academic English teacher have provided me with ample opportunities to work with amazing students on written assignments, providing feedback on multiple drafts as well as grammar support and general advice. Seeing the progress that my students make with each writing tip and fun lesson lets me know I am truly making a difference in this world. Helping my students achieve their academic dreams is what I love about tutoring!
