Career Experience
Starting in February 2019, I moved to a small town in Mexico to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) at a university. After that, I taught English Language Arts at a bilingual high school. I'm now working as a tutor and subsitute teacher while I complete my teacher's license in English Language Arts!
I Love Tutoring Because
everyone has the right to an education. Everyone has the ability to succeed in education. Some of us need a little extra support to do that, but I genuinely believe that everyone is capable of learning and growing. Students seek tutors because their current education situation is not working for them. I work to present ideas in a different way, ask students thought-provoking questions, and support them while they arrive at their own answers. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing that "lightbulb moment" when a student "gets it" and begins to find those answers.
