Career Experience
I first learned programming by doing free courses online and started building websites for local businesses before deciding to go to school for computer science. My real world experience helped me to excel in my classes, and I found it helped me to have a deeper understanding of the material by being able to explain it to my peers. I started tutoring because I found it gratifying to help my peers better understand the material along with why it was something valuable to learn.
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy finding new ways of communicating knowledge to people. Seeing the moment things click with someone struggling with a concept is really gratifying. I also appreciate that tutoring others helps reinforce my own knowledge, highlights any concepts I may need to review, and drives me to gain deeper insights since the better I understand the material the more quickly I can determine where in the process someone is making an error.
