I teach mathematics, English and geography at a Montessori school in the US. I also teach business marketing borrowing from my educational background and the work I did with PR agencies and travel companies. I have also worked with mental health organizations and enjoy teaching psychology. I also have a keen interest and certifications in computer science and programming languages such as Python from accredited online platforms.

I Love Tutoring Because

it is a rewarding process and involves working with children. Studying should be fun so that concepts are easier to understand and lay strong foundations. I like to break down the concept in a way that helps the students understand better. I have seen my mother and mother-in-law teach and believe that I can carry the learnings from them. I like to help out people, and what better way than this. It is a small way to give back to society.

Shawn and Arushi did excellent work! They've helped me quite a bit- in understanding how to differentiate between dependent and independent variables. The x axis, based on the independent variable and is the horizontal one. The y axis relates to the dependent variable and uses the vertical axis. Arushi helped me to understand control and experimental groups, also. And Shawn brilliantly clarified my misunderstanding between dependent and independent variables by using an example about 3 different fertilizers, or types of fertilizers and plants' growth correlative to each one. The dependent variable turned out to be the plants' growth whereas the independent one(s) were types of fertilizer. Keep up the excellence. X-axis, independent, horizontal. Y-axis, dependent, vertical. I'll definitely return to understand more about how control and experimental groups relate to the axes, types of variables, etc. How does a control group adverse to an experimental group correlate to dependent variables, y-axis, vertical through independent variables, or x, horizontal axes? Thanks so much. Keep it up.

Session would have been great if tutor had some more patience. Most of these tutors don't seem to understand that students come to them to be teach and not ridiculed. I understand that they are not here to complete our assignments for us, but I speak for myself when I say that I only reach out when I am totally lost. So, I need a lot of guidance when I do. Don't ask me questions as if I already know that answer, because if I did, I wouldn't have reached out.
