Admissions Requirements
Enrollment is limited to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada. Those who are in the third year or have successfully completed three full years of study in any degree program at a recognized university are eligible to apply. A minimum of five full or equivalent courses must be included in the final undergraduate year (September to April year only). Science prerequisites are one full course in Biology, one full course in Organic Chemistry, and one additional full science course. Nonscience prerequisites are two full nonscience courses from different disciplines and one senior-level course in one of these two subjects. Interested applicants should contact the Faculty for more detailed course requirements. The MCAT is required. The latest date that applicants should take the exam is August in the year of application. Only applicants who have achieved a certain grade point average and MCAT scores will be considered for admission. Typically, the minimum GPA is 3.50 and minimum MCAT scores are a 9 on Biological Sciences, an 8 on Physical Sciences, a 9 on Verbal Reasoning, and a Q on the Writing Sample. English proficiency is a requirement.
