Admissions Requirements
Maryland requires one year each of Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and English as prerequisite courses. A grade of C or better is mandatory in each course. While the MCAT is also required, there is no set formula for determining competitive scores. Students with a wide range of scores are accepted each year. In addition, Maryland considers the best scores for those applicants who retake the exam.
