Admissions Requirements
In addition to an AMCAS application, applicants are required to submit a secondary application to the School of Medicine. The Admissions Committee uses a holistic approach to evaluate each application. The Committee considers an applicant's academic credentials; personal traits; career objectives; and the individual's ability to make a positive contribution to society, the profession, the discipline, and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Competitive applicants are asked to visit the school for an interview; all students are required to interview prior to matriculation.
