Kathy Ruppert
Kathy previously worked for The Princeton Review as a classroom instructor and master tutor for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT (verbal) and eventually as a master trainer for the SAT and SES programs. After a nine-year hiatus to teach history full-time, she is delighted to be back with TPR once again. She loves to travel, play platform tennis, and spend time with her kids. Spencer LeDoux
Spencer has had a varied career spanning banking, retail, and university education both at home and abroad. His first major teaching job was as an English instructor in Osaka, Japan. He has a knack for identifying and removing barriers that students have when learning how to take standardized tests. Spencer has an established record of helping test takers at all score levels achieve their goals.
Michaela Jones
Michaela was a National Merit finalist with a perfect score in English and above 700 in reading and math on the SAT, which earned her a full tuition scholarship at Barrett, the Honors College at ASU. During tutorials, Michaela likes to approach things with a sense of humor. She likes to think that her positive, can-do attitude is contagious, and maybe one of her SAT students said it best: “not gonna lie, this has kinda been fun.”
Valerie Meyers
Valerie is from Long Island and moved to NYC to work in “Big Law”, where she was also an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Cardozo Law School. After working in law, she moved to NJ to become the manager of a medical practice, putting her MBA to work! After 22 years, she retired and found an opportunity to do something that she really enjoys, teaching. Her tutoring philosophy is that she is here to help students achieve their goals.
Daniel Almeda
Daniel has experience teaching and tutoring at all levels of education and has thus encountered students employing a broad spectrum of learning styles. Daniel holds an HBSc with High Distinction from the University of Toronto. During his undergraduate education he specialized in Integrative Physiology and majored in Behavioural Neuroscience. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience and Psychiatry at McGill University.
