As the state’s oldest and largest business school, the University of Connecticut’s School of Business offers Fulland Part-Time MBAs (as well as Executive MBAs and dual degrees) via four of its campuses. Customizable curriculums, a focus on team collaboration, and small cohorts lead to a “great value and return on investment,” and plenty of scholarships (on top of an already low tuition) make for “a lot of diversity and affordable quality education.” The administration is “very supportive, friendly, and support students’ interests and initiatives,” and the cohort sizes lead to “easy class scheduling.” UConn is becoming increasingly known for “its focus on sustainability and corporate social responsibility in the business world,” and course options and content reflect this. The newly established Grad Net Impact chapter also started UConn’s first MBA Sustainability Case Competition, which is being institutionalized on an annual basis.

The quality professors have extensive real world experience (“many professors have C-suite experience”), and the well-rounded, “big data-focused” curriculum is fleshed out with experiential learning and “market-ready specializations/courses.” The core class professors are “top-notch” however, adjunct professors that teach electives are said to be “hit or miss.” Classes are very much interactive, and study methods include “a wide range of activities such as quiz, simulation, write-up, class debate, team assignments, individual exercises, and so on.” All in all, “you get a great bang for your buck with UConn in terms of the low cost, solid professors, and reputation.”
