Career Experience
I am a biomedical engineer with expertise in bioinformatics, neural networks, and molecular modeling. My career has focused on protein-ligand interaction analysis using tools like Autodock Vina, Chimera, and PyMOL. For my thesis, I investigated the interactions of the PEMT protein with compounds such as miltefosine and ketoconazole, gaining advanced skills in molecular simulation. Additionally, I have developed convolutional neural networks for pathology diagnostics, including a project on diabetic retinopathy detection that earned me first place at the Life Science Congress 2022. I have also served as a teaching assistant for courses such as biostatistics and numerical methods and have experience teaching in preparatory programs and high schools.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love tutoring because it allows me to share my knowledge and help others overcome challenges in their learning journey. Seeing students grow in confidence and understanding is incredibly rewarding, and I enjoy creating a supportive environment where they feel empowered to ask questions and explore new concepts. Tutoring also helps me refine my own knowledge and stay engaged with the subjects I’m passionate about, making it a mutually enriching experience.
