Career Experience
For 44 years, I taught high school mathematics, including Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Precalculus. I served as chair of the math department and have sponsored many student activities. Since retiring, I have tutored Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Precalculus both in-person and virtually.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love sharing my interest in and love of mathematics. Interacting with students has always given me energy and joy. I realize many students have math anxiety, and I strive to build each person's confidence in his/her abilities by presenting material in different ways and asking directed questions.
